I’m Jess, well technically Jessica… but that is a little too formal for me. Welcome to my new blog, J . R O S E! I am from North Carolina but am currently living in Lexington, Kentucky where I attend school at the University of Kentucky. I am studying Merchandising, Apparel, & Textiles with a minor in business.
My focus for J . R O S E is to grow as a personal brand and destination for all things fashion + beauty + lifestyle. I hope you join in on this journey with me!

R A N D O M F A C T S
I was born and raised in a small town called Benson, North Carolina. Here I can drive to the beach or the mountains, or even both in one day.
I am one of the pickiest eaters you will ever meet. Although I am from the South, you will never see me enjoy a southern plate of food (unless it’s fried chicken). But no joke, this causes me anxiety to eat with people that don’t know me well and don’t know my eating habits.
My favorite color cannot be chosen. I simply enjoy any neutral color or bright neons, but absolutely no pastels for me.
My all-time favorite T.V. show is One Tree Hill, and Brooke Davis is my QUEEN. But I could never rule out Friends or Gossip Girl.
I can fall asleep at any time, anywhere. My parents have many photos from over the years with my neck slumped over, looking completely broken, in the car while on a 30 minute ride home from lunch in the city. Although I have to say, my prime moment of this fun fact was me falling asleep (and staying asleep) during the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals when the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Edmonton Oilers. Confetti, cow bells, & screaming fans have nothing on me.
